They are constructed with high-quality American made canvas, printed with a water-resistant pigment-based ink, and stretched over a sturdy wooden frame that is 1 ½ inches thick. They are also coated with a matte laminate finish to protect them from scuffs, scratches, cracks, and damaging ultraviolet light, and finished with a wire hanger and corner bumpers.
The canvas material is moisture resistant, heavy weight at 450gsm, and made of a 65/35 poly/cotton blend. And we’re happy to say that this canvas was the first solvent canvas to be certified archival by an accredited third party for a display life of 100+ years!
